The November edition of the Salon was held at Alter Space gallery and the programming was as follows:

Maria Guzman Capron received her MFA from the California College of the Arts and was the recipient of the Graduate Painting Fellowship. Part-Colombian and part-Peruvian, Maria has lived in Italy, South America and the United States. Her work has been shown at many venues throughout the Bay Area, Texas, Chicago and Peru. Her most recent solo show at City Limits Gallery, She Bop, was featured in Art in America. Capron is a co-founder and works out of the Oakland studio collective Ctrl+Shft.

Christie Yuri Noh makes images, objects, installations, writings, and sometime performance. Using ephemeral loops, non-linear narratives, and interactive images as patterns, Noh creates meditative environments, which suggest the expansion of time…
